This fish is a little work in progress, for use, unless I change my mind, with a poem by physicist Yukawa Hideki. (In a previous life I was a PhD student in Japanese history, working on a study of Japanese scientists… He was my favorite.)
My plan is to somehow make the fish look like she’s under water. The little circles will be pebbles.
Here’s where my lack of art education shows — I’m afraid of doing the watercolor part of the etegami. I’m not sure how to do it.
Any advice appreciated!
I have no art education. Just thinking about how this would look in nature, maybe some grasses coming out of the water would give the impression of the fish under water?
Thanks! I keep meaning to reply, but I wanted to have finished it. Sadly haven’t had a chance to. I will soon!
