Hurricane Sandy blew in and out of DC earlier this week, keeping me at home instead of work. Intermingled with teleworking, I also did a little etegami, inspired by my cats, Moomin (the black and white cat) and Joxter (the grey one). I watched them for a while as they played at our front door, in the vestibule where there is a glass door. They kept pawing to get out. The words say, “Waiting for the typhoon.” Luckily, the hurricane didn’t hit us hard — just a long, strong storm for us.
Waiting for Hurricane Sandy
