A little etegami of a cat in a sink, inspired by this image and poem from the blog Stories with no Books. The cat’s name is Siri, and blogger recounted a night when she got up to go to the bathroom, and luckily turned on the lights before turning on the faucet. Siri had found herself a cool place to nap in the sink. The snippet of her poem that I used is as follows:
always remember
to turn on the lights,
because you don’t know
who might be sleeping
under the faucet
If only I could capture Siri’s gorgeous silver coloring. I did use silvery gansai for this etegami, but it’s best seen in person.
cute! Love it!
I wish my cats would do this, I would love to paint them in my sink. Maybe once it gets hotter, they will try to cool off in the sink.
Thanks!!
This is great….looks very much like the photo.
Thank you so much!!
